This excellent Japanese maple had more intense red color and is smaller than 'Bloodgood'. Foliage holds it purple-red color throughout the season and then takes on an intense, fiery glow in fall. Best grown in part shade. Grows 15' tall and 12' wide. Hardy to Zone 5.
