'Galaxy' produces an abundance of fragrant, reddish-purple flowers later in spring than other magnolias, thereby avoiding most late spring frosts. It has a pyramidal habit with strong branching structure. Performs best in full sun, growing 30-35' tall and 20' wide. Hardy to Zone 5.
