Hosta Jewel of the Nile medium

The leaves of this jewel are blue-green with yellow margins. The wedge shaped foliage has good substance and wavy edges. Grows into a good size clump 22" tall and 50" wide. Lavender flowers in early summer.

'Jewel of the Nile' is a sport of the all gold 'Dee's Golden Jewel', and often sends out leaves that are all gold or irregularly variegated, as you can see from this picture, taken in our gardens. We rather enjoy the non-stable leaves. But if the clump starts turning all gold, we will dig it and divide out the gold eyes.
