We found this white-edged sport growing in a clump of 'Janet' here at Hornbaker Gardens back in the early 1990s. We divided it from the clump in which it was growing, and it has remained stable ever since. The late Kathy Hornbaker had a sister named Janet, so this hosta is named for Kathy. The leaf centers emerge chartreuse and will lighten to a brighter yellow as the season progresses. The white margins remain all season. Grows around 16" tall and 38" wide. Lavender flowers in summer.
