Hosta Fire Island small

In spring, this beauty exhibits brilliant yellow leaves with red petioles. The red extends onto the base of the leaf just a bit. A little morning sun bring out the bright yellow color, but too much sun can cause the leaves to bleach out. In shade, the color will turn chartreuse in summer. With maturity, the leaves will become slightly rippled and corrugated. Grows 15" tall and 24" wide. Lavender flowers in mid summer.
