Goldenstar is the common name for this low-growing, woodland groundcover. Its star-shaped, daisy-like, bright yellow flowers bloom heavily in spring with a light rebloom in fall. The flowers reach 8-10 inches tall. The plant spreads by rhizomes, forming a mat of foliage around 3-4" tall, but is easily controlled. Grows best in partial shade, and can handle full shade. Hardy to Zone 5.
