Taxodium 'Peve Minaret' #3

This dwarf Bald Cypress is a natural miniaturized tree with soft, rich green foliage that begs to be touched. With regular late winter pruning, it  forms a dense, compact spire up to 10' tall with a spread of 3-4'. Prune back any branches going horizontally in order to encourage more upward growing interior shoots. If left unpruned, the growth is wider and more open, which is still a wonderful dwarf specimen, but a denser, narrower tree is so cute that we would encourage you to try the pruning. It's easy to do. The fine, feathery needles turn orange in the fall before dropping. Best grown in full sun. Garden size is 10' tall and 4' wide. Hardy to Zone 5.
