This is probably the most common boxwood used today. Green Velvet forms a rounded plant well-suited for a low hedge. It has good green color in winter and is deer resistant. It grows to 3' tall and wide in sun or shade, and is hardy to Zone 5 (even Zone 4 if in a protected area.
