Basil - Organic Sweet Genovese Quart

Genovese Basil is the most flavorful basil for culinary use. Its classic taste is what makes foods like pesto, caprese salad, and bruschetta so incredibly tasty. In India, it is considered a holy plant. As a medicine, it is helpful for calming upset stomachs and lifting the spirits. This heat loving herb is easy to grow and produces an abundance of 3" long dark green leaves. Be sure to keep it from frost. Use an annual in a planter or in the ground, as it is a Zone 10 plant. Grows 24-30" tall and 12-24" wide in full sun to part shade. Hardy to Zone 10.
