Mojito mint is milder in flavor, has larger leaves and has hints of citrus compared to the spearmint species. Because of these qualities, it is by far the best mint for the perfect Mojito. It grows vigorously in full sun and will reach 2' tall and 2-3' wide in a short amount of time. Because of its vigorous root system, it is best to keep it in a container to prevent it from taking over a garden. Easy to grow and care for, Mojito mint makes for a fuss free herb. It is also rabbit and deer resistant, which is nice for those of us whose gardens are overrun by our furry friends. Hardy to Zone 4.
