Spilled Wine® weigela shares the same fabulous deep purple foliage and bright pink flowers of the classic Wine & Roses®, but in a smaller size. Hummingbirds love its tubular flowers. Like all weigela, it is deer resistant. Little pruning is needed, but it can be shaped after flowering, if needed. Grows 2' tall with a spread of 3' and is hardy to Zone 4.
