Hydrangea p. Little Quick Fire® #2

This is the smaller version of the popular Quick Fire®. You get the same early, pure white blooms, turning to rich rosy red. Best planted in some afternoon shade, and it's great in containers, too. Prune back by up to a third in order to control size and encourage branching It grows 3-5' tall and wide, and is hardy to Zone 3. As with most Hydrangeas, morning sun and afternoon shade is best. That being said, if watered well throughout the dry season, grouped plantings of panicle hydrangeas in full sun can be spectacular!
