Knowns as a Full Moon Maple, 'Aureum' has roundish leaves that open bright yellow. The foliage gradually darkens to yellow-green by summer before turning attractve shades of orange-red, sometimes tinged with purple, in fall. Best grown where it is protected from winter winds and where it gets morning sun and afternoon shade. Grows 16-20' tall and wide. Hardy to Zone 5.
