Hydrangea p. Little Hottie® #3

New in 2022. This exciting new hydrangea introduction has loads of very full flower heads that emerge green and turn sparkling white. Its compact, well-branched form is covered, top to bottom with large, tight flower clusters held on strong stems and needs very little pruning. Bred in Georgia for heat tolerance, it doesn’t brown in excessive heat, although, like most hydrangeas, the flowers hold up longest if planted in afternoon shade. That being said, if watered well throughout the dry season, grouped plantings of panicle hydrangeas in full sun can be spectacular! Fall color of the flowers is soft pink. The plant grows 3-5’ tall and wide and is hardy to Zone 3.
