An outstanding shrub that provides a source of soft, late summer color in cottage gardens, bed and borders. The large, double flowers are more of a pompom than the typical tubular flowers of most other varieties of Hibiscus. The flowers are a lovely shade of pink. Plant in full sun to part shade. Grows around 10' tall and 6' wide with an upright habit. Little pruning is generally necessary, but can be done in early spring, if desired. Hibiscus make a good hedge or screen, or single specimen at the back of the border. Hardy to Zone 5.
