A wonderfully fragrant shrub! Pink buds open to clusters of snowball-like white flowers in mid-spring. Unlike some other viburnums, the leaves fully open before the bloom season, offering a fully green backdrop that enhances the beauty of the flowers. Spice Island™ is a compact grower and slow to mature, making it a perfect specimen for garden paths and smaller spaces. In the fall the foliage turns brilliant shades of burgundy and glowing red. It reaches 4-5' tall and wide and is hardy to Zone 5.
