This improvement over the original 'Dalmatian Purple' displays greater vigor, better uniformity, and an earlier bloom time. Outward facing, lilac purple flowers with maroon spotted throats bloom in early summer. Grows 2-3' tall with a spread of 1'. Foxglove prefers acidic, moist, well-drained soil. In most climates partial shade is best, though it will grow in full sun.
