Adapted to the heat, drought and humidity of the Midwestern prairie, this Nebraska native brings lowland adaptability and disease tolerance to a high elevation favorite, greatly expanding the planting range of this mountain species. Light green foliage, turning yellow in the fall, trembling beautifully in the breeze. Narrow oval to pyramidal outline. Grows 30' tall, with a spread of 15'. Hardy to Zone 4.
