Weigela f. Midnight Wine Shine® #3

This dwarf weigela has darker, shinier leaves which make a huge impact in the landscape from Spring to Fall. When it comes to tip die-back, Midnight Wine Shine® has displayed much better hardiness. Use in shrub borders, grouping, masses, as a specimen or in containers (plant in ground in spring). Pruning is best done immediately after flowering, but little pruning is needed. This slow growing shrub tops out around 18' tall and 30' wide making it perfect for along walkways or other narrow sites. Grows in full sun and is hardy to Zone 4.
