This is an eye catching 'Annabelle' type hydrangea that offers handsome, dark green foliage, sturdy, strong stems that prevent flopping, and large blooms of tourmaline-green that age to include slight shades of pink. Plus, it reblooms, delivering waves of fresh flowers through autumn. Best grown in four or more hours of morning sun with afternoon shade. Prune back in early spring by a third to half its height. Deadheading is not required, but may be done. And by all means, cut some stems to enjoy the flowers indoors. Grows 4-5' tall and wide, and is hardy to Zone 3.
