Malus 'Red Delicous' #10

One of the heaviest flowering and fruiting varieties, Red Delicious offers an outstanding display of white flowers in mid-season (mid-Spring). Must have a mid-season pollinator nearby for optimal pollination. Pollinators include Golden Delicious, Granny Smith, Fuji and Honeycrisp. It's very sweet without much flavor, but given it's high sugar content, it makes a great addition to ciders or apple sauces. This semi-dwarf tree reachs 12-14' tall and wide and is best grown in full sun. Hardy to Zone 4.
