Finely-serrated leaves are deeply lobed, creating a lacy effect. Foliage creates a season-long kaleidoscope, transitioning from green to purple, and then bright orange-red in the fall. Unlike other weeping lace-leaf Japanese maples, this variety grows slightly taller than it is wide. 'Orangeola' grows to be 4 ft tall and 3 ft wide in 10 years. Plant in full to part sun and keep soil moist. Prefers morning sun and afternoon shade here in the Midwest.
