Epimedium 'Dream Catcher' #1

This barrenwort is a dream that can be caught and added to your garden! Rosy red sepals give way to large yellow wings. Bright green leaves have a moderate amount of bronze coloration in cooler temperatures. 'Dream Catcher' improves on traditional varieties with large flowers and exceptionally long flower stems, producing blooms for many weeks in spring.

The foliage grows around 12" tall and can spread slowly up to 36". The flowers float above the foliage 24" tall. Grows best in part to full shade. Hardy to Zone 5.

Epimedium are one of the few plants capable of surviving in dry shade. Although slow to establish, mature plants will not be missed in the landscape, particularly when in flower. These plants are appreciated for their durability and critter resistance, but loved for the long sprays of jester hat-like flowers in spring.
