A small, upright clump with deeply cupped and puckered gold leaves. The foliage emerges bright gold in spring, then changes to chartreuse as the season progresses. The foliage has excellent substance. This is one in our gardens about which people often ask. We never seem to have a great number of them. It's fairly slow to multiply, but a mature clump draws your attention. Grows 12" tall and 18" wide. White flowers in early summer.
