An improved P.J.M.! A compact shrub with rounded shape, covered with vibrant lavender pink flowers in spring. Dark green, glossy, leathery foliage takes on red-purple hues in fall and then remains on plant all winter. Foliage is smaller and darker than that of P.J.M. Best in afternoon shade and acid soil. It helps to spray the foliage with Wilt Pruf in November. Grows 2-3' tall and 3-5' wide. Hardy to Zone 4.
